Beaudesert
Beaudesert was an estate and stately home in Staffordshire which had belonged to the Paget family since 1546. The main part of the house was built by the 3rd Baron Paget between 1573 and 1583. When Henry Paget, Earl of Uxbridge, was created 1st Marquess of Anglesey in 1815, his main seat became Plas Newydd in Anglesey. He installed the Waterloo Staircase in the Great Hall at Beaudesert, and many members of his family continued to live there.
