Death of Albert Ricardo

MR. ALBERT RICARDO, J.P., for over sixty years a member of I. Zingari, died at Raymead, Maidenhead, on December 23rd (1908), in his eighty-ninth year. He was not much of a player, but his presence was always welcome as he was a most cheery and pleasant companion. He had been a member of the M.C.C. since 1866. He rode in the first steeplechase ever held in France, and in 1847 won the Cambridgeshire with The Widow.
